SO started to complain about my mp3-player that he’s been using at the gym. A little poking around revealed that perhaps the best choice in the price category that’s available in Finland is Kingston’s already discontinued product KPEX100.
KPEX100 can play mp3, wma and ogg (perhaps others), can be used as text or jpg viewer, runs on lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, the 1 GB memory can be extended with miniSD, the charging is done via usb, and it can serve as a usb host for other devices. To make things even better, the device and its manual are available in Finnish. I ordered it today from LinuxComp.net. The service in LC.net seems to be very responsive.
